Children & Youth Activities

Sutton Methodist Church has many children and youth activities under its umbrella.

For babies and toddlers we have a creche during morning worship; a cradle roll and a parents and toddlers group that meets on Tuesday afternoon.

Sutton Methodist Church is also lucky to have one of the best and longest established pre-school nurseries in Hull.

For our growing children our Junior Church meets the needs of families with pre school and primary school children, our Milk Shake and Hot Chocolate Groups are very active and cover key stage 3 and 4 young people (11 - 16's). Our teenagers also have a monthly fellowship group and attend other activities in the region, such as Ignite @ Beverley Toll Gavel.

The Church hosts a Scout group which contains Beavers; Cubs and Scouts, a Guide unit containing Rainbows; Brownies and Guides.

Our 629 Youth Club meets most Friday evenings for Secondary school aged young people connected to our Church groups. We run trips; arrange events; have fun and develop friendships. We recently took part in a Pantomime and helped raised money for an Orphanage in Africa. Every year we have a weekend away in Lancashire.

During the year Sutton Methodist Church also runs very successful summer holiday clubs, easter craft days, Carol Service activity afternoon, Easter egg hunts and similar one off children's fun days.

We are lucky to have good links with our friends at Spring Cottage Primary School .
